In this session on blood, the heart and the circulatory system, pupils will learn the different components of blood and its functions, how it transports around the body and take a close up look at a heart! KS2+
Virtual Visit Details
Perfect for your year 6 pupils, this virtual visit will explore the importance of our blood, vessels and the heart.
Delivered by expert scientist Dr Jo, your pupils will:
• Identify and name the main parts of the human circulatory system
• Describe the functions of the heart, blood vessels and blood
• Have a close up look at a real lamb's heart, including taking a peek inside
Sessions include follow up resources of suggested investigations.

Each call is priced based on one class dialling in, with discounted rates for additional classes joining the same call.

We will provide you with a Zoom link for the call, unless you would prefer to provide a link yourself (MS Teams/Google Meet). Please indicate below.
Each term (just a few times a year we promise!) we send an email with relevant virtual visits to coincide with events like Black History Month, World Book Day and Science Week. If you'd be happy to receive this, please tick below.
