Emily Davison jumped out in front of a horse at Epsom Derby because she was willing to risk her life for what she believed in - female suffrage. This powerful story will inspire and educate your pupils.

Virtual Visit Details

Your class will receive a video call from Suffragette Emily Davison. She’s a tough lady and is ready to convince your class why campaigning for female suffrage is worth risking your life for.

Emily will tell you about:
• Her upbringing and why she joined the WSPU in 1906
• The people who are doing everything they can to stand in the way of the Suffragettes
• The bold tactics she uses to make her point known, such as protests and hunger striking
• Her devious plan for the Epsom Derby...

A live, interactive performance followed by Q&A.
