Sophie is a GB Wheelchair Basketball player and captained the team at the Rio Paralympics. She's a World and European Silver Medalist and is training for the Tokyo 2021 Paralympics, aiming for a medal!

Virtual Visit Details

Sophie will share her story of surviving a traumatic car accident and how grit and determination got her to where she is today.

Her online school workshop will cover:
• Her accident story and how she found wheelchair basketball
• How sport and exercise changed her life for the better
• How she understands people and uses her psychology degrees to build and support a team
• How the lack of representation of disabled people in the media is a problem and how she would like to tackle it by being a positive role model

Each call is priced based on one class dialling in, with discounted rates for additional classes joining the same call.

Each term (just a few times a year we promise!) we send an email with relevant virtual visits to coincide with events like Black History Month, World Book Day and Science Week. If you'd be happy to receive this, please tick below.
