Your pupils will find out what plants are, what they need and what they do. Most excitingly, they will see a variety of weird and wonderful specimens up close and ask an expert their questions. KS1+

Virtual Visit Details

You will learn about the life of plants from a tiny seed to a majestic tree. Our green friends are not just a
pretty flower!

From the tips of the food-making leaves to the tiniest root hairs, they all do their thing: moving water, winning nutrients and catching sunlight.

How do they grow and what do they need to stay alive on their way to making new seeds?

Flowers, fruit and how the seed is spread, as well as some of the other adaptations and wonders of the vegetable world. There are some very strange plants, let's explore them!

Presented by Ian B Dunne using his own fantastic collection.
