Jeanne is an award-winning children’s author with over 400 titles published. These include The Bog Baby, Dr Xargle, Who’s in The Loo Tadpole’s Promise and #Goldilocks (A Hashtag Cautionary Tale). EYFS-KS2
Virtual Visit Details
Jeanne's classic visit is on her famous book The Bog Baby (described below). However, if you are after a visit on Tadpole's Promise or #Goldilocks then please let us know and the visit will be tailored accordingly.
The Bog Baby:
Jeanne’s virtual author visit features her much-loved picture book character, The Bog Baby.
A keen naturalist and keeper of exotic insects and other mini-beasts, Jeanne will explain where the idea for the story came from by showing ‘nature table’ items, eg giant moth cocoons, preserved beetles, sloughed snake skins etc and possibly live creatures subject to availability / season, eg newts, beetles, caterpillars.
She will then read the Bog Baby Story, followed by a demonstration on how to make a Bog Baby out of modelling material.

Each call is priced based on one class dialling in, with discounted rates for additional classes joining the same call.
Please indicate the number of classes that will be joining your call.
We will provide you with a Zoom link for the call, unless you would prefer to provide a link yourself (MS Teams/Google Meet). Please indicate below.
Each term (just a few times a year we promise!) we send an email with relevant virtual visits to coincide with events like Black History Month, World Book Day and Science Week. If you'd be happy to receive this, please tick below.
