Author of the Jamie Johnson Series, which has been adapted for TV by the BBC and the award-winning thriller Unstoppable. Dan's talks engage even the most reluctant readers. Option to add class books! KS2+

Virtual Visit Details

This online school session will cover Dan’s journey from reluctant reader to author and the role that his passion for football has played. Perseverance (his books were rejected for three years by publishers at the beginning of his career) and the importance of editing are key themes. Dan is also happy to talk about interviewing Messi and Ronaldo as well as what it was like to meet both The Queen and Nelson Mandela.

The visit will be broken down into two parts: firstly, a conversation between Dan and the host, with the pupils listening, followed by answering questions from the pupils.

For £150, your class can enjoy the virtual visit and receive 8 Jamie Johnson books and 1 copy of Unstoppable for each class in the call.
