Without the role of women, WW1 would have been very different. Hear Charlotte's story and learn how she 'did her bit' working in a munitions factory and the lasting impact the efforts of women such as her had.

Virtual Visit Details

Charlotte will reminisce about her experiences of living through the 'Great War'. She will explain:

• The emergence of the War and how men were enlisted to fight (and the shame felt by those who didn't)
• The various jobs that women did to support the war effort
• How a newfound independence for women led to other changes such as an increase in female sports and women's suffrage

A live, interactive performance followed by Q&A.
