Catherine is a TeachPrimary Award winner. Having worked for Greenpeace and the Natural History Museum, she now writes books to inspire curiosity… from evolution and climate change to outer space.

Virtual Visit Details

Catherine hopes to inspire children to care for our blue planet. From crocodiles to turtles, tigers and sawfish, she works with scientists all over the world to research her books. She will focus on a chosen book and talk about how it was created working with scientists, illustrators and the publisher by sharing early drawings, edits and ideas. From animal lives and conservation to the story of evolution, space, humankind as well as tips and skills to becoming an eco warrior, Catherine will leave children buzzing with ideas for reading, writing and taking action to admire and protect the natural world.
